You Are Blessed by Priesthood Power

A power that exists to serve, never to dominate.

The promise

The priesthood is God's power working through ordinary people to bless other people.

The priesthood is God's authority delegated to serve, bless, and connect people to Him. Its blessings are available to everyone — young men and young women alike.

The principle

In the gospel, real power is measured by service, not status. Those who use authority to serve look like Christ; those who use it to dominate move away from Him.

Today, in your life

Leadership without ego

In a world that confuses power with followers and influence with fame, the priesthood teaches the opposite: the greatest authority belongs to those who serve most, often with no one noticing.

I can choose to…

To think about

  • What does having 'power' mean to me? Does it match Christ's example?
  • How can I use the influence I already have to bless someone?

In scripture

Christ speaks of the keys of the kingdom — authority to bind and bless in His name.
