Your Body Is Sacred

Your body is a gift, not a project to be fixed.

The promise

When you treat your body as sacred, you stop using it to prove your worth and start caring for it out of love.

Your body is a gift from God, part of who you are forever. Caring for it, respecting it, and protecting it is a form of gratitude.

The principle

Choices about what you consume, how you dress, and how you live your sexuality make sense when they come from respect for something sacred, not from rules imposed from outside.

Today, in your life

Comparison, filters and pressure

Social media bombards you with edited bodies and impossible standards, feeding anxiety and dissatisfaction. Knowing your body is sacred — not a product to perfect — is an act of resistance and of peace.

I can choose to…

To think about

  • Do I treat my body as a gift or as a problem?
  • What messages do I absorb about my body — and where do they come from?

In scripture

'Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit' — a dwelling of the divine, worthy of respect.

1 Corinthians 6:18–20
